Book cover titled "7 Figure Fiction" by T. Taylor, with subtitle "How to Use Universal Fantasy to Sell Your Books to Anyone" and an illustration of a butter dish.

What an AMAZING proof.

Thank you so, so much. I loved your thoughtful corrections, and you were really respectful of my speaking/writing voice—I so appreciate that. You’ve made me so much more confident that I’m delivering a book of value to my readers.

Your book deserves to shine

You’re tired.

Tired of writing books that go unread.

Tired of competing to stand out in a crowd.

Tired of service providers who ghost you.

You need someone to support you with consistency, encouragement, and integrity.

Whether you’re rapid releasing, launching an audiobook, or prepping for a new pen name, Your Publishing BFF can help.

Let’s work together to make your books stand out for the right reasons: gripping storytelling, quality writing, and undiluted author voice.

Hi! I’m Dayna M. Reidenouer (they/them), Your Publishing BFF.

In some spaces, diversity, equity, and inclusion are bad words. Not here.

I offer a unique perspective as a queer, neurodivergent, disabled, and Superfat reader and publishing professional. I help authors create professional-quality immersive books, discover hidden biases in their manuscripts, and explore ways to reduce and eliminate racist tropes, fatphobic stereotypes, ableist adjectives and analogies, and other unintentional triggers.

How I can help

The editorial process shouldn’t be a burden. I strive to be clear in my promises and explanations for suggested changes. And every time you review an edited document, you will become a better writer.

Step 1

Schedule a sample edit. Send me the worst part of your manuscript, and I’ll make it better.

Step 2

Reserve your manuscript’s spa visit with a deposit. Your book will have my full attention; I work on only one project at a time.

Step 3

Marvel at the improvement. My edits are suggestions to enhance your author voice and remove reader stumbling blocks. They’re nothing to fear!

"Engrave Danger: A Charm Island Mystery Book 1" by Casey Griffin

Dayna backs up any edits with explanations and provides resources, so I’m not only confident in the changes, but I also learn how to improve. They make me a better writer with every manuscript we work on together.

If I can’t fit you into my schedule, I’ll refer you to trusted colleagues who can.
